Kate Whyborn
Kate started dancing aged just two and has been passionate about it ever since. After completing BTEC Dance with Distinction, she went on to train in professional musical theatre at Leicester College of Performing arts where she trained intensively in: Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Commercial, acting, Singing and many more styles. During her time at Leicester she also gained Diplomas in Ballet and Jazz enabling her to teach.
Kate has danced professionally touring UK Theatres with “One Night In Vegas” and currently performs with the Dynamic dancers, which sees her performing at large and small scale events around the UK and over seas.
In 2006 Kate started teaching and has since enjoyed visiting many schools, colleges and community settings, delivering dance to a wide variety of groups teaching up to college level.
As part of her teaching work Kate has been a part of many large and small-scale productions, including performances at the O2, Royal Albert Hall and Saddlers Wells.
In 2010 Kate founded, Street Dance Group, Street Wize, which is going from strength to strength, with students competing in street dance championships.
